Who is Vanga? This is the blind prophet and clairvoyant of Bulgaria, well known throughout the world.


For 62 years she used to help people resolving their personal problems in all spheres of life. She was predicting the near future and the far future, prophesized on the destiny of the Earth, sensing the remote past, curing with herbs and other natural products, denouncing vicious people, exhorting to a nobler life and the Faith in God, she was giving hope to any situation. She used to explain her gift thus: when a man is presenting himself before me, it is as if in my consciousness is opened a window and I see all his life as on a film./1969/

On the subject of the state of the Earth: I am present on the hottest spots on the Planet and I see massacres and natural calamities, disasters. You sleep during the night, whereas I am browsing through the pages of human destiny and I see the suffering of all men./1970/

She used to explain her activities thus: I am posed here and I have a well delimited time to stay.

I am a representative of-- I hold my hand out to the desperate and to those who had lost faith and I am showing them the way where to go. /some after that find the way and others do not find it at all. /1979/

Furthermore, it is not necessary for Vanga to enter into some special state of consciousness in order to utter her prophesies.

The information she was receiving from the sky was made up of a perpetual flux of images, words and sounds which were manifesting themselves in her consciousness without being able to stop it or initiate it.

She used to be as a conductor of all that information and she could provide it day and night, independently of the problem and of the time to which it was related. Nevertheless, this activity required a complete self-renunciation and a life related to the problems of men, that is why, even if she was formally married, she did not have a private life. Vanga used to be blind since the age of 12, after the trial of the blue storm. But after fate deprived her of physical sight, it gave her a clear vision, actually of the whole world, the visible and the invisible, here is gift the functioning and scope of which, we’ll probably never understand.

I had the extremely rare opportunity to live beside a living prophetess since my birth as a tender niece and I have been writing about Vanga for more than 20 years, as direct witness of her gift of prophecy.

During all those years, I also wrote down the accounts of tender visitors who attest the spectacular achievements of her clairvoyance. I keep also some audio recordings and the voice of my aunt, when she is uttering her prophecies concerning global events.

The only thing I regret, it is that I started making recordings comparatively late and some of her predictions are irreparably lost. Vanga passed away in 1996. All her life, here on Earth used to be extremely difficult. She survived and prophesized in the conditions of the totalitarian communist regime, which repudiated her completely and persecuted her not only for her clairvoyance, but also because of her deep and sincere faith in God, to whom she was inviting everyone- an activity which was incompatible and harmful to the communist doctrine. But despite the oppression to which she was subjected during all these years, her messages survived and awaken men’s consciousness up to this day. As Vanga herself affirmed in the year 1989: I passed through all the storms of fate and I remained.’ And she will remain, because her prophecies uttered more than 30 years ago now are fulfilled in their full strength and help us to understand the world better, so that we could be better prepared in the face of the future that is awaiting us.
