I learned to channel using a tape from Sanaya Roman. Before that I used a lot of meditation. It was during meditation that I first became aware of my guides.
Later when I used the tape I found the same guides.
The meditation on this site is very similar to the one I used. I recommend reading it into a recorder and playing it back to yourself.
