Spiritual growth is of great concern to all of us who want to go on to the next world in better shape than when we came into this world. It just so happens that what we want, spiritual growth is what we are meant to get. Each and every path is a path of growth. If you choose the rocky road you will grow. If you choose an easy path you will also grow. In the final analysis it is how you integrate your experiences from your path which determines how far you come along on the path of your own personal growth.
So let’s get on with it. Grab life by the horns or the teeth or by the throat and do not give in to the temptation to be idle in your thoughts or actions. Doing creates growth.
Spiritual growth doesn’t mean that it is spiritual to begin with. It might be weight lifting that makes you grow spiritually. What do you learn by body building? You learn pain and how it creates muscles. You learn a principle which is that pain creates.
When you are learning in business what are you learning? You are learning how to make things grow into money. You have learned a principle. Working out the details of any transaction creates what? something which has value. Working hard at details is also spiritual. It is a mindset which enables growing to take place.
So it is with your personal awareness. When you meditate you are really sowing the seeds of abilities because you learn to empty the field and begin with nothing. Then what comes from the field? Creativity is generated in a clear field. That is why we meditate because meditation clears the field and creates all that you see around you. All that you see in the stars and in your mind’s eye and in the eyes of the creator came from a clear field.
Spiritual Growth Meditation- The Middle Path
Sit down and be still. Imagine that you are in a forest just before the dawn. Just as the sun begins to rise there are birds beginning to chirp. Then they grow louder. What you are hearing are the sounds of the dawn.
Let us prepare. Clear your mind again. Now imagine a field of darkness which lies before you. What is in this field? You can’t see it and you are not able to hear anything. Imagine that you are able create anything that you want to and it will be created in that field. What if it was money that you wanted? Imagine money growing in that field. As the dawn approaches you see a field of money growing before you. Now harvest it. Go into the field and gather to yourself all of the money that you wanted. How does it feel to you? We want you to notice that you are feeling a pain in the area of your back as you raise these bundles of you money. At the same time praise the universe for giving you what you wanted .
You see. There is growth in a material sense and yet there is pain. All in all you are happy with what you created for yourself. At the same time you must be grateful while acknowledging that it hurts to harvest.
All of life will be like this.
When you take this with you to your spiritual level you will know that gain comes through transformation of darkness into something of value. You will harvest your transformation; that which you created. Then you will suffer to collect your growth.
No matter what you decide to grow will become part of you when your growth when you complete yourself.
A Spiritual Path-The Easy Path
You want to grow spiritually. Yet you do not want it to hurt so you choose an easy path. You are born rich and you decide to go to a university which is prominent. You graduate with a degree in something which will give you an easy way in the world. Whatever it is is something that you find easy to do.
You live a simple life. You get married and have children. The path of this life has no challenges. When you grow older you do not have to worry about your needs or the needs of those who are close to you. You can be generous with the money which you have made. You are well respected among those who are in your peer group.
There comes a time in this life when you are concerned that your life lacks meaning. So you ask questions as to why this life was so easy as compared to others around you. You look beyond your borders and you see that there is a world filled with sorrow.
You have come to a point of realization. When you reach this point you cannot accept this life any longer. Now you seek meaning.
You are now at the point of someone who has had a hard life and wonders why their life was hard. No matter your perspective you both are forced to ask the same questions. Why was my life like this? Why is my suffering not answered by those who are supposed to have all of the answers to all of my spiritual questions?
You absorb the sorrow and there is growth to the part of you which you cannot see; the spirit within. Sorrow brings you growth just as lifting weights causes muscles to grow.
Surprise! You are wise and you did not work for it.
You see sorrow and you grow as a result of it. Growth happens in any field of darkness when the light of dawn is about to break.
One Last Case and Will Let You Go.
Someone came to me and asked. What is life, why do I need to come here and have to suffer pain?
As a matter of fact he is your presenter, the one who makes this website for you. He asks - why do I have to exist? He realizes that he has no choice in the matter. He exists because he simply does. How do I answer him when he is a part of who I am? I must hear him out on a daily basis. We are part of each other.
What can I say at this time to ease his suffering? He knows better but he does not feel what he knows.
“You will suffer and from that suffering will come prosperity. You remember the field of money. The same holds true for anything you want. You will have it. For you create.”
“Imagine having great spiritual growth. Who could have imagined that eventually you will have great peace?

After you have counted all your money

or when you have counted all of your blessings
-
imagine if you can all of the wishes of kindness that you bestowed on others returning to you to bless you.”
This soul which is my own precious offspring will grow into a happy being whose wishes of great happiness to others will return to him again later on. He will have more to give until the whole universe is full with his giving and with his happiness.
“So grieve not in this moment. For you are greatly loved.”
Now go and remember that each of you has a great gift and that gift is that you will learn from your experiences and that each gift no matter which is of a greater nature because it will cause you to grow to the point at which you will be the one who gives the love and bestows it on those who are suffering.
