The 4th Chakra Meditation
The 4th chakra meditation. Lie down and take a deep breath. Exhale slowly and while you are exhaling feel the breath as it passes through your heart center. Let yourself breathe in and out this way a few more times so that you become aware of the air passing through your heart center. Notice the energy grow as you focus your attention upon your heart. Now notice that there really is a center to your heart. Right in the center of your chest where there is a deep impression. Breathe in and out of this center at least several more times. Sometimes you will notice that there is resistance here in your 4th chakra. When you encounter this resistance we want you to notice it. See if you can identify it by a name. Some of you may have had problems with parents or others of you may have had problems when someone died or left you. Use that name to identify the resistance. The pain that is left behind is felt in your heart and stays there until you free it. Imagine that your heart center is able to open up wide. When your heart opens wide your feelings that were living in your heart begin to flow outward and away. When you focus on your heart you are focusing on the force of love that creates the universe. Look at this love within your heart and see that you are a part of this great love. You are able to live at the center of love, for love has one center. Remember that all the people that you have loved share this center with you. You are one with them now and forever. Remember to come back here often for an open heart is the key to your personal growth. You will grow in your mind and spirit when your heart is open.
